Pictures rather than a report: a house going on the market, a business that wants proper images of its own premises, a venue, a view, an event.
Not everything needs a survey. Sometimes the job is simply that a place looks better from the air than it does from the pavement, and the pictures are the whole point.
The Mavic 4 Pro carries a 100 megapixel Hasselblad camera and shoots 6K video, which is plenty for a property listing, a website, a brochure or a print. The images come back edited and ready to use, and they are yours to use as you like.
A survey and a set of marketing photographs are two different flights with two different aims. A survey wants flat, even light and detail; a photograph wants the light doing something. Booking them together is fine, but they are usually flown at different times of day.

Estate agents and property sales
An aerial shot does something a ground photograph cannot: it shows the plot. How much garden there actually is, where the boundary runs, what is behind the hedge, how close the neighbours are and what the outlook is from the back.
For rural properties, smallholdings and anything with land, it is often the difference between a listing that reads as a house and one that reads as a place.
Businesses and venues
Holiday parks, wedding venues, farm shops, garden centres, campsites, yards and industrial premises all photograph badly from the road and well from above, because the thing you are selling is the site as a whole.
Where a venue needs images across a season, a repeat visit in different light gives a set that is worth far more than one perfect afternoon.
Events, and what we will not fly
Aerial photography over an event with a crowd is a different category of flying with its own rules, and the A2 Certificate of Competency held here does not cover flying over gatherings of people.
That does not mean events are out. It means the shot is planned around where people are, usually before or after rather than over the middle of it, and we will be straight with you about what is possible before you book anything.

How a photos and video runs
- Step 1
Tell us what the pictures are for
A listing, a website header, a brochure, social media, a print on a wall. The end use decides the framing and the crop far more than the aircraft does.
- Step 2
We pick the time of day
Light matters more than anything else on this kind of job. Which way the building faces decides whether it is a morning or an evening flight, and we will say which and why.
- Step 3
The shoot
Usually an hour or two on site. If there are shots you particularly want, say so beforehand and bring the list.
- Step 4
Edited files back
Colour and exposure worked up, straightened and cropped for the use agreed. The delivery date is agreed when you book rather than fixed, because editing time depends on how much of it there is.

Kit, cover and qualifications
CAA registered operator
Operator ID and Flyer ID both held and current with the Civil Aviation Authority, which is the baseline for flying commercially in UK airspace.
A2 Certificate of Competency
The A2 CofC, which allows closer flying to buildings and to people not involved in the flight than the basic qualification does. It does not extend to flying over crowds, and nothing on this site suggests it might.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro
A 100 megapixel Hasselblad camera and 6K video. Enough resolution that one flight can produce both a photograph fit to print and a frame close enough to read a hairline crack.
DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced
A 640 by 512 radiometric thermal camera for the jobs where the answer is a temperature difference rather than something visible: trapped moisture, heat leaving a building, a warm shape on cold ground.
Insured with Coverdrone
Full commercial cover, and the certificate goes to anyone who needs to see it before a visit. Managing agents and site managers usually do, and asking is sensible rather than awkward.
A construction background
The person flying has worked in construction, which is why the report says what a defect is and where it sits rather than only that something looks wrong in a photograph.
Fixed price, agreed first
The price is set before the visit and travel inside the coverage area is part of it. No hourly creep, no mileage added afterwards.
Written report within 48 hours
Where the job needs a report, it lands within 48 hours of the flight. Photograph-only jobs have their delivery date agreed at booking instead.

- Can I use the photographs anywhere I like?
- Yes. The files are supplied for your own use with no restriction on where you publish them, whether that is a listing, a website, print or social media.
- Do you do video as well as stills?
- Yes, 6K video from the same aircraft. Say up front if video is part of it, because it changes how the flight is planned and how long it takes on site.
- What about weddings and parties?
- We cannot fly over an assembly of people. Shots of the venue, the grounds and the setting are straightforward, and they are usually flown before guests arrive or once the crowd has moved indoors.
